Final Version Due

Turn in the final version hard copy of your Controversy in Intellectual Property paper.

I return the assessment final.

Method: 1. Explain the controversy to the class. (Do not read your paper. You may use notes.)

             

               2. Show an appropriate visual on the screen while you talk.

                        You may prepare a PowerPoint slide or two, or simply show an informative                            webpage (one of your sources? several?).

The course final will be Wednesday Sept 20. We could meet at 1 PM to do the final in room 227.

1. Get out all the papers you wrote for class this quarter. Answer the following questions in your daybook:

A.  Of all the papers, what was your best hook? Copy it down.

B. Out of all the papers, what was your best clincher?  

C. Of all the papers, which got the highest grade? Do YOU think it was the best? Why or why not?

D. Which of your papers was the weakest? Why? What was its grade?

E. Which assignment actually gave YOU the most practice in critical thinking? Why?

F. Which was your longest paper?

G. What's your favorite title that you gave a paper this quarter? 

H. How many pages did you write? (total of all graded papers plus the one handed in today)
